Kathy serves as Starkweather's Director of Online Learning, helping to implement and support clients with LMS platforms. Previously (and retired), as Assistant Director of Academic Technology, UW Madison, Kathy led the division responsible for a variety of technology initiatives. These initiatives consisted of technology training programs, high school minority technology enrichment program, video production service and online course creation service. Her previous experience to Assistant Director role was consulting with faculty on their teaching and technology needs at UW Madison. Kathy’s career began as a K-12 educator starting in Columbus, WI and then at Madison Metropolitan School District (12 years) in the areas of Computers, Health and Physical Education. Kathy holds a Masters Degree in Kinesiology and BA in Education from UW Madison.
